## Professional Experience

Patrick builds and operates AI systems for large organisations — from strategy through to the version that is actually running in production. He leads large-scale AI initiatives end to end: product strategy and deployment for enterprise generative AI platforms, agentic AI that automates complex decision-making, capability building (training, governance, and organisational design that makes adoption stick), and working alongside the C-suite on what to build, where to place the bets, and how to do it responsibly.

Previously, as Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, Patrick led both the strategy and implementation of AI transformations for global enterprises, specialising in generative and agentic AI integration that drove measurable efficiency gains across industries.

Before McKinsey, he co-founded and exited Bambus.io, a fintech delivering real estate equity release solutions, and founded design//digital, a consultancy focused on human-centred design for digital products. He served as Advisor to the European Commission on the Horizon 2020 initiative and spent over 15 years as technology columnist for Austria's KURIER daily newspaper. Earlier, he was a researcher at Cambridge's Engineering Design Centre, where his work combined machine learning with inclusive, human-centred design.
